Lukasiewicz Filters as Convex Combinations of Crisp Filters

چکیده
In this paper we investigate special types of Lukasiewicz filters. We show their connection to crisp filters. Further, we introduce the notion of Lukasiewicz ideal as a set-function which is in some sense complementary to Lukasiewicz filters.

Lukasiewicz filters and their Cartesian products
The paper deals with Lukasiewicz filters. It analyzes some of their possible constructions and their basic properties. The Cartesian product of Lukasiewicz filters is introduced.
متن کاملFuzzy Preference Relations and Lukasiewicz Filters
This paper is devoted to construction of fuzzy preference relations and to showing how this construction is connected with Lukasiewicz filters and TL-evaluators. We will study also extensions of Lukasiewicz filters on subsets of some X 6= ∅ to TL-evaluators on the system (lattice) of fuzzy functions f : X → [0, 1].
متن کاملSpeech Enhancement by Modified Convex Combination of Fractional Adaptive Filtering
This paper presents new adaptive filtering techniques used in speech enhancement system. Adaptive filtering schemes are subjected to different trade-offs regarding their steady-state misadjustment, speed of convergence, and tracking performance. Fractional Least-Mean-Square (FLMS) is a new adaptive algorithm which has better performance than the conventional LMS algorithm. Normalization of LMS ...
متن کاملCombinations of Adaptive Filters with Coefficients Feedback
Parallel combinations of adaptive filters have been effectively used to improve the performance of adaptive algorithms and address typical trade-offs, such as the one between convergence rate and steady-state error. In these combinations, the component filters are usually run independently and then combined, which leads to a well known convergence stagnation effect. Conditional transfers of coe...
متن کاملMedley filters - Simple tools for efficient signal smoothing
Medley filters are defined as convex combinations of elementary smoothing filters (averaging, median) with different smoothing bandwidths. It is shown that when adaptive weights of such a mixture are evaluated using the recently proposed Bayesian rules, one obtains a tool which often outperforms the state-of-the-art wavelet-based smoothing algorithms. Additionally, unlike wavelet-based procedur...
